We would love to post your boat. Abernethy & Gaudin is pleased to list some of the most beautiful boats built by hand. We have selected good quality wooden boats to feature for sale. Our listings are mostly west coast from Alaska to California.
Want to list your wooden boat with us. It’s a free service. All you have to do is email us with your contact information. Description of your boat. Several photos and most importantly a price in Canadian dollars. After we decide if the listing is a good fit for us, we will post it and the buyer will inquire with you directly.
Once the boat sell you can let us know and we will modify the listing as sold.
Our goal is to keep our treasured wooden boats well cared for in and constant use.

F.D. 202 is a fully functioning vessel with decades of history here on the BC coast. FD has been well maintained and is ready for more adventures!
Included on the boat are;
Lowrance GPS, Radar, Solar Panel, Starting batteries were replaced in 2019, fire extinguishers, 2 automatic bilge pumps, anchor and anchor winch, swim ladder
Built in 1946
F.D. 202 was originally a 42 foot wooden hull, built in 1946 as a fisheries vessel. It was a regular sight along the B.C. coast until 1989. When it was purchased by a private buyer who had the hull professionally fibreglassed.
6-71 Gray Marine Diesel
Still running the original motor with a rebuild in the early 90s. There are only 900 hours on the engine since the rebuild. It’s a great cruiser travelling at 8 knots for 2 gallons/hour.
Coastal Cruiser
Fully equipped with a stove/sink/head and with 2 bunks in the front and a table to bunk. F.D. 202 can comfortably cruise the coast.
